Mr David Willett, managing director of Cambridge Clothing Pty Ltd (CCPL), lodged an application (AG2023/1608) in the Fair Work Commission on 25 May 2023 to terminate the Cambridge Clothing Company Enterprise Agreement (2014) (AG2015/1943).
The application was made under section 225 of the Fair Work Act 2009.
If the application to terminate the Agreement was granted, the Agreement would cease to apply, and the wages and conditions of the employees covered by the Agreement would likely be governed by the General Retail Industry Award 2020.
On 24 July 2023 a decision [2023] FWC 1716 was issued indicating that it was appropriate to terminate the Agreement. The termination of the Agreement operates from 24 July 2023. The case is now closed.
