Application for a single interest employer authorisation (Form F83)

Use this form if you are:

• an employer that will be covered by the proposed multi-enterprise agreement
• a bargaining representative of an employee who will be covered by the proposed agreement (this may include a union) 

You cannot apply for a single interest employer authorisation for a proposed greenfields agreement.

Have this information ready before you begin. You will need to give us details about:

• who is making the application
• your representative (if you are using one)
• the employers who will be covered by the agreement, including their contact details 
• any other bargaining representatives you know of
• the employers and employees to be covered by the proposed agreement

You will also need to provide information about:

• any common interests the employers have
• whether the employers carry on similar business activities under the same franchise
• the number of employees each proposed employer currently employs   
• how the operations and business activities of each employer is reasonably comparable with those of the other employers that will be covered by the proposed agreement
• union representation for employees who will be covered by the proposed agreement
• whether the proposed agreement covers employees in relation to general building and construction work.

You must send (serve) a copy of your application and any supporting documents to any other bargaining representatives for the proposed multi-enterprise agreement.
