Who can use this form
Use this form if you are:
- an employer that will be covered by the proposed multi-enterprise agreement
- a bargaining representative of an employee who will be covered by the proposed agreement (this may include a union)
You cannot apply for a single interest employer authorisation for a proposed greenfields agreement.
Before you start
Have this information ready before you begin. You will need to give us details about:
- who is making the application
- your representative (if you are using one)
- the employers who will be covered by the agreement, including their contact details
- any other bargaining representatives you know of
- the employers and employees to be covered by the proposed agreement
You will also need to provide information about:
- any common interests the employers have
- whether the employers carry on similar business activities under the same franchise
- the number of employees each proposed employer currently employs
- how the operations and business activities of each employer is reasonably comparable with those of the other employers that will be covered by the proposed agreement
- union representation for employees who will be covered by the proposed agreement
- whether the proposed agreement covers employees in relation to general building and construction work.
You must send (serve) a copy of your application and any supporting documents to any other bargaining representatives for the proposed multi-enterprise agreement.
