Introduction
The Association of Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers Australia (APESMA) and the Australian Industry Group (AIG) have applied to create a proposed new Language Services Industry Award.
Content
The application has been made under section 158 of the Fair Work Act 2009. It seeks to create a new modern award to cover:
- employers in the language services industry, and
- employees who perform translation and interpretation work.
