New resources about unfair deactivation and termination for regulated workers

We are preparing for changes to our functions because of the Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Closing Loopholes No. 2) Act 2024. Many of these changes start on 26 August 2024, pending some qualifying periods and other requirements.

Today we have published new information about unfair deactivation and unfair termination for regulated workers including:

• new website content about unfair deactivation or termination for regulated workers, and
• a video presentation about the Unfair jurisdiction for digital platform workers and road transport contractors (regulated workers) by Deputy President Saunders providing an overview of the provisions.
