Expense-related allowances.

A. Pursuant to s.157 of the Fair Work Act 2009, the above award is varied as follows:

1. By deleting the amount “$17.12” wherever it appears in clause 16.3(a)(i) and inserting “$17.38”.

2. By deleting the amount “$17.12” wherever it appears in clause 16.3(a)(ii) and inserting “$17.38”.

3. By deleting the amount “$8.28” appearing in clause 16.3(b) and inserting “$8.49”.

4. By deleting the table appearing in clause B.2.1 and inserting the following:

Meal allowance—no prior notice—required to work overtime for 2 hours or more	16.3(a)(i)	17.38	per occasion
Meal allowance—required to work for 2 hours or more prior to normal starting time	16.3(a)(ii)	17.38	per occasion
Transport allowance	16.3(b)	8.49	per day

B. This determination comes into operation on 1 July 2021. In accordance with s.165(3) of the Fair Work Act 2009 this determination does not take effect in relation to a particular employee until the start of the employee’s first full pay period that starts on or after 1 July 2021.
